Hegyi oroszlán (Hungarian)Mászunk a januári havon át a Lobo-kanyonba, Emberek! Tétováznak. Végre megindulunk egymás felé. Két mexikói, két idegen, kik felbukkantak a hóból, Vajon mit cipel az egyik? Que tiene, amigo? Mosolyog, ostobán, mint akit tetten értek. Hegyi oroszlán az ott a vállán, Ma reggel sikerült csapdába csalnia, mondja, ostobán mosolyogva. Emeld fel az arcát, Hermoso es! Mennek tovább a nyílt síkság felé. Így hát sosem ugrik fel újra itt a meredek szikla fölött, nem lobban megfeszült testének sárga villáma, Helyette én nézek ki innen És arra gondolok, hogy ebben az üres világban elfértünk volna én és a hegyi oroszlán.
