Tránsito (Spanish)
¡Qué princesa final-la última hoja
de otoño- pasa por en medio, lenta,
de la ancha calle sola!
Rubia, desheredada, morganática
esposa del gorrión. Presentan armas,
inútiles aceros, ramas secas,
dobles filas de árboles, la guardia.
¡Adiós!
Las encendidas iluminaciones
urbanas a su muerte paraísos
eléctricos ofrecen, blancos campos
elíseos. ¡Arriba!
El viento, su destino, ya la sube,
alma, al cielo.
¡Adiós! Invierno, ¡qué anarquía!, invierno.
Las dinastías verdes
cumpliendo trasatlánticos destierros,
esperan
abril, clarín, restauración segura. Uploaded by | P. T. |

Transition (English)
The last princess - autumn's
last leaf - drifts down the middle
of the wide empty street.
Blond, disinherited, morganatic wife
of the sparrow. Double rows of trees
stand guard and present arms
with their useless swords:
bare branches.
¡Adiós!
City lights go on,
offering her death in electric paradise,
in white Elysian fields. Upward!
Now the wind, her destiny, swoops her up,
soul and all, to the sky.
¡Adios! Winter - what anarchy! - winter.
Green dynasties
in transatlantic exile
wait for
April, clarion, safe return.
